Recently I have been reading more articles about this new virtual playground called Second Life http://secondlife.com/whatis/.

What's interesting is that this isn't just a game for children to play after school, but has 'tangible' benefits as well. Some of these benefits include:

Virtual conferences
Recruitment capabilities, complete with job boards
Company introduction and branding opportunities
Individual branding within different professional communities.

So, I want to ask if any of you work in organizations that are currently experimenting with this new technology? If so, what are the potential dangers of interacting with people in virtual space, and how can we protect ourselves from it?
