It seems the entire world is in a mental depression, alongside the economic one. With morale so low, how important is team building at this time?

This is actually the best time to do team building, as travel prices are low especially in Sth East Asia.
However, I am sure that there will be more staff cuts for many companies before Christmas, so Team Building will probably re-start when the culling finishes.
